ZF Thrusters Maintenance / Repair Work
DSPL provides the complete maintenance and repair work facility for the ZF Thrusters and HRP-Make ZF Thrusters used in various ships of Indian Navy,Indian Coast Guard, and Inland water ways authority of india.
We have done the major works like Overhauling of ZF 4000 Series Thrusters fitted on Tug Athak (Indian Navy) and ICGS Vaibhav.
The maintenance solution provided by DSPL for the ZF Thrusters includes various tasks as per the requirements and condition of the Thrusters. Some of these are as follows:
- The chemical cleaning and the pressure testing of lube oil coolers.
- Testing and replacement (if required) of the seals of propeller shaft, input shaft, and steering tube.
- Replacement of the Lube oil in sump/oil pan.
- Replacement of the Hydraulic oil.
- Renewal of the hydraulic oil filters elements.
- Renewal of the lube oil filters elements.
- Proper greasing of the universal shaft joints is done to ensure the smooth function of the shafts.
- The calibration of the Lube oil pressure switch.
